TD Bank reaches out to small business owners

From the top of Maine to the tip of Florida, TD Bank is looking to reach small business owners and find out precisely what they need in terms credit. With small business lending practices normalizing, TD is hoping to better tailor its services to entrepreneurs.
The lender will send loan officers to more than 25,000 small businesses throughout the United States with the goal of establishing the lines of communication between TD Bank and company owners. TD Bank's campaign is scheduled to last the entire month of May and will be the company's largest outreach campaign ever.
"TD Bank understands that small businesses are the engine of the economy, creating jobs and keeping our communities vibrant. That's why we're taking a highly personal approach with this effort," said Fred Graziano, head of retail and small business banking at TD Bank.
Small business owners are borrowing more money, according to a recent PayNet report, so TD Bank's initiative to focus more on startups comes at an opportune time for many entrepreneurs.
