SBA Region II conference taking place in Buffalo
8/15/2011
The U.S. Small Business Administration is holding this year's SBA America East Region II Conference in Buffalo and Niagara Falls and is expecting hundreds of participants.
Guest speakers will range from James Cox, of the U.S. Department of Commerce, to the consul general of the Consulate General of Canada, Marta Moszczenska. Seminar and workshop topics include international trade and exports, navigating the SBA lending application and approval process, franchising, dealing with debt and other small business related subjects.
The events are taking place from August 15-17, in the Buffalo-Niagara Convention Center, the Hyatt Regency Buffalo and at out-of-the-ordinary locations such as Niagara Falls State Park sites. By bringing together experts from the SBA, U.S. and Canadian federal body speakers, lending institution representatives and successful small business owners, the conference aims to brainstorm new ways to stimulate small business growth, assist entrepreneurs and better the SBA's assistance programs and processes.
SBA's America East Region II covers the states of New York and New Jersey, along with Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Attendees have access to most of the conference programs and lectures in addition to the opportunity to network with other regional businesses and local lenders.
