SBA encourages entrepreneurs to weigh in on existing policies

The U.S. Small Business Administration has helped a number of entrepreneurs gain access to the funding they need to either start a company or keep their existing organization in business. However, there may be some entrepreneurs that SBA policies aren't currently helping. The group wants to hear from these individuals so it can make its regulations fairer for everyone.
As Government Executive reports, the SBA published a notice earlier this week asking for entrepreneurs to voice their opinions on its policies and regulations so it can improve them for the future. The outreach initiative comes shortly after President Barack Obama called for a government-wide review of federal programs to make improvements.
"The primary objectives of this review are to make SBA's regulatory program more cost-effective and less burdensome on participants in the agency's programs while continuing to promote economic growth, innovation and job creation," the SBA said.
The SBA has been a big player when it comes to small business lending, providing billions of dollars worth of loans to businesses in dire straits.
