President Obama to speak to Ohio business leaders

President Barack Obama is speaking at Cleveland State University next week to tout entrepreneurship among Ohio business leaders, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The White House is inviting between 100 and 120 small business leaders in the northeast Ohio area to attend the forum. The president and several of his cabinet members will address the subjects of exporting, clean energy, work force development, entrepreneurship and access to commercial loans.

"The entrepreneurial spirit in America is one of our greatest assets, and small business owners who grow these fast-growing companies create the majority of the jobs," the U.S. Small Business Administration's Karen Mills, who will attend the forum as one of President Obama's advisors, told the paper.

Obama regularly meets with small business owners to provide insight and discuss growth strategies. Last week, he met with rural entrepreneurs in Michigan to discuss the value of high-speed broadband internet connections and he will be visiting with company heads in California later this week. The CSU forum will take place on February 22.
